An Amazing Day

After yet another crappy day at work, I came home to a package. A book-shaped package.

It was from Eden Bradley. I ripped it open. Inside was a copy of her next release, The Dark Garden, due out September 25th from Bantam.

I'd planned to buy it, of course, but this was a nice surprise. Then I opened it. Read what she'd signed. Then I read the acknowledgements. I saw my name.

Thank you, Eden. You turned a not-so-hot day into one I'll never forget. I'm truly touched. :)
